2013 Sowing Schedule

This year I refreshed my sowing schedule. Previously I had just used the one I didn't in 2010. I made this one a bit more comprehensive with outdoor planting dates. It's also still a work in progress until I get all the fall planting dates inputted. Once my Four Season's Harvest book arrives I will update it with all the fall stuff.

  1. WOW!! Indeed it is a more comprehensive planting schedule. The perfect outdoor temperature for growing green peppers is daytime temp of around 75F and a nighttime temperature of approximately 65F. Any temperature that is hotter or colder will stunt the growth of the pepper plants and prohibit them from bearing vegetables.

  3. All my usual planting dates and calendars are kaput this season! Still way too cold and wet to do anything. Only in the last few days have we begun to feel that Spring is here. Finally I've been out in the garden doing some digging and planting. Let's hope it is a better growing year than last. xxx

  4. I love your flower photos and the little biodegradable seedling pots. Haven't tried them myself yet, but I'm keen. Have you tried the ones that start out as a disk and then expand around the seed?
